About
25 years inside industrial plants.
I started in the Faroe Islands, where everything you build has to withstand the Atlantic. That shapes how you think about reliability. Nothing theoretical. Nothing fragile. If it doesn't hold, the sea takes it.
I spent two decades working inside process industry plants — refineries, power stations, waste-to-energy facilities, chemical plants. Not as a visitor. As someone who understood the equipment, the people, and the systems that connect them.
I worked for consulting firms. Good ones. But I kept seeing the same pattern: the person who won the work wasn't the person who did the work. The methodology was sound. The implementation was staffed by people who'd never walked a plant floor at 3am during an unplanned shutdown.
So I went independent. One practitioner. No layers. No handoffs. When you work with me, you get the person who has done this — in plants like yours, with problems like yours — for 25 years.
I'm also writing a book. Everything I've learned about building maintenance and reliability systems that actually work. It's called The Road to Reliability Excellence, and it's coming in 2026.
